I'm seeking information regarding farms on the big island preferably. I'm ideally looking for a place where I could learn and practice herbalism in exchange for my energy or possibly just working on a farm where I would have access to their medicinal herbs. I'm looking for a pretty healing place, but I suppose it's not hard to find in Hawaii. Does anyone have any information? Thank you.

Wwoofing Hawaii (Oahu)

This would be my first experience wwoofing after friends have told me so much about their past experiences elsewhere. I am finally ready to give it a try and I have family on Oahu in case it all sucks and I need a place to go to or just somewhere to chill during off times on the farm. I would appreciate all info pertaining to farms on Oahu (specifically). I'm 21, female, new to wwoofing other than what I've heard from friends who do it and I have been interested in it for some time. Also, I may be traveling with a friend who is an experienced wwoofer but never in Hawaii. Thank you.
